No.3 is produced by Berry Bros. & Rudd (London's oldest wine and spirit merchant, established in 1698). It took Berry Bros. & Rudd along with an expert team including Dr. David Clutton, the only person in the world with a PhD in Gin, 730 days to painstakingly refine and create the Worldโs Best Gin recipe. Today, ten years after its inception, the No.3 proprietary recipe (a thoughtful blend of only six essential botanicals) upholds the timeless taste that its creators envisioned a decade ago. To meet Berry Bros. & Ruddโs exacting standards they chose to distill No.3 in a unique 100-year-old, brick-encased copper pot still in Holland, the home of gin. This allowed them to achieve a pure and clean spirit that is the perfect balance of juniper, citrus & spice.
Since its launch in 2010, No.3 Gin has garnered more than 20 awards for excellence and is the only gin to have won the International Spirits Challenge โBest in Classโ Gin Trophy four times. In 2019, No.3 Gin earned Supreme Champion Spirit distinction at the International Spirits Challenge. It is the only gin to have won this recognition.
Nose : Bright, crisp and fresh with an uplifting welcome of juniper.
Palate : Juniper to the fore, supported by floral notes and spicy, warm cardamom. Plenty of citrus โzingโ complemented by the gingery spiciness of coriander.
Finish : The earthy dryness of angelica kicks in.
