This wine is from France, Champagne region. The base blend is identical to Brut Yellow Label, with an addition of 12% of red wine from vineyards in the Montagne de Reims. A luminous color with attractive pink glints, an elegant nose with initial aromas of fresh red fruit leading to brioche notes. This wine tastes fruitier than Yellow Label, with raspberry and grape flavors giving a sense of sweetness to the blend. There's enough spicy acidity to keep it balanced and focused through a flinty, smoky finish.

Light, bright orange. Fresh redcurrant and strawberry aromas are complemented by notes of orange zest and anise. Brisk, mineral-accented red fruit flavors are slightly pinched but gain depth with air. Finishes with a bitter blood orange quality and firm grip. 50% pinot noir, 30% chardonnay and 20% pinot meunier.
