On the nose this tequila presents mild fleshy agave with hints of citrus and sweet floral notes. The body is smooth and light with clean tingle. On the palate there is initial spiciness on a background of herbs and fresh agave. It is exceptionally well balanced with no bite or burn. The finish has lingering white pepper, finishing clean and cool. The first exquisite small batch of Tres Generaciones Tequila, just 100 numbered ceramic bottles, was created by Third Generation Don Francisco Javier Sauza as a memorial to his family's 100 years of wisdom, skill, and courage. Tres Generaciones Plata is an un-aged, crystal clear tequila made from 100% blue agave. It is triple-distilled, giving it a unique pure agave taste and smoothness. Tres Generations Reposado is naturally made from 100% blue agave. It is triple-distilled for smoothness, then rested in American Oak barrels for at least four months.
