This red wine has aromas of warm oak spices, followed by chamomile and dark fruit. Sage and forest floor mingle with tart red fruit flavors and a juicy, bright acid. Focused tannin adds length to the finish. Siduri, named for the Babylonian goddess of wine, is the result of our founders, Adam Lee and Dianna Novy's, mutual love of Pinot Noir, and their dream that they could make great wines of their own. We specialize in cool-climate Pinot Noir, producing single-vineyard designate wines from over twenty exceptional vineyard sites stretching from California's Santa Barbara County to the Oregon's Willamette Valley. Our winemaking goal is to produce wine that best captures the distinct flavor and
character of a given vineyard site. Whenever possible we let the wine make itself. We do not want to do anything to the wine that isn't absolutely necessary. We believe in bottling our wines un-filtered and un-fined. In the vast majority of cases we have been able to achieve this, with only a handful being filtered, and none of the Pinot Noirs being fined. We avoid these techniques as we believe they have the potential to strip a wine of its flavor. We believe that the best Pinot Noirs express their origins. But perhaps most importantly, we believe that wine should be a pleasure, that serious wine and serious fun aren't mutually exclusive. So in our drive to make great Pinot Noir, we ultimately hope for something relatively simple-good wine to be enjoyed with good friends, good family and good food.
