What happens to my points if I make a return?

When you return an item, you lose the associated credit you originally earned by buying the item in the first place.
Sound kind of confusing? Let's take an example: let's say you had previously spent $50 towards a 'spend $100, earn 500 points' promotion, and you decide to buy a $20 item, which bumps you up to $70. If you decide to return that item, your progress would also go back down to $50 – it's just like you hadn't bought the item in the first place.

WM Cadenhead Old Raj Dry Gin (Red Label) (92 Proof) is from England. Cadenheads have been bottling Old Raj in Campbeltown since 1972, a classic Juniper forward gin with the addition of saffron post distillation. This version is bottled at the higher strength of 46% ABV. 

Cadenhead's Old Raj Gin is distinctive in that it contains a measure of saffron, the rare and costly spice derived from the crocus flower. In addition to a slightly spicy flavour, this also imparts a pale yellow colour to Old Raj. The addition of saffron is undertaken personally by the Company Chairman in order to ensure a consistency in flavour and colour each time Old Raj is bottled. Old Raj is so well put together that the high alcohol level is never an issue, mixed or neat.
